A Good Beach Day

Monday March 2nd 2020

We have been here a week now and we still have not seen a full breach.  We seen a very young calf that was probably hours old.  The mother helping it stay on the surface staying very close to shore.  The next day, perhaps a little older, practicing tail slaps.

Today looks like a beautiful day.

Each day we take our Bad Ass mugs full of coffee and sit outside on our lani.  You can see the sun is not over the mountains yet.  It reminds me of starting a fresh new day.
We decided to leave Jimmy Dean in the store and the Egg Mcmuffin at the drive in.  Clela decided to make our own.  We lightly toasted an English muffin, scrambled some eggs, fried a sausage patty and last a thin slice of cheese.  Put it all together and you have a Clela mcmuffin.

The best pineapple we have had in a long time.
I decided to make today a Badger day.

If you want to be a badger, Just come along with me. By the bright shining light, By the light of the moon. If you want to be a badger, Just come along with me. By the bright shinning light of the moon...

We decided we needed a beach day.  We packed a lunch and took of to Cemetery Beach.  That is not it's name.  The beach name is Hanakaoo Beach.  We call it Cemetery Beach because there is a cemetery road side and the beach is ocean side.  We sat on our new chairs and eat lunch.  We paid 14 dollars each for the chairs at CVS, not bad. Salvation Army had none this year.

Can't tell what happen to the text about.  Oh well you still can read it.

We must have stayed here a least two hours before deciding to head back to our condo for a rest.  You know us oldster need our naps.  Upon waking up we had a Pina Colada and watched the sunset.

The birds are sitting around the top edge waiting to fly down to their place to sleep. Several hundred birds flock here every night.  Their excitement reaches a high pitch and then about an hour later all the noise stops until the next morning about six.  All of sudden they all wake up to a crescendo of excitement and fly off.

As the sun sets along comes a Hawaiian to light the tiki torches.

Tonight we are having white castle cheeseburger sliders, and potato salad, along with pineapple.

That was our day.
See ya.
