Hula Girl Or Hula Grill

Tuesday March 3rd 2020

Each day seems to get better.  Take today there is very little cloud cover. There is no wind at the time I'm writing this.  Maybe there is something to coming here later.

Sitting here on the lani, we got quit a thrill watching all the action of whale watching, right from the lani.

Look, look can you see the tiny speck out there, that's a young calf.  Remember when I use to come come home with all those fish pictures.  If I had Brad's camera.....  We have been here more then a week and today we saw our first full adult breach.

Some people have a professional take pictures while they are here.  In fact there is one in our resort.

Oh you have to wear a big hat to take pictures of a young child, don't cha know.  Kinda reminds me of that hat the grandkids  wore.

Today we hung around the condo and did laundry and vacuum the floor.  It's hard to keep a throw rug clean.

We decided to go to the Whaler Mall eat and buy somethings from the ABC store.  Oh I can't forget buy some cookies.  So we jumped into the car and went over to the mall.  Can you actually visualize us running out and jumping onto our car. Not, no way and not in your dreams.
We decided to eat at the Hula Girl.  You know there was a time I though is was the Hula Girl.  Case in point, The Hula Girl catamaran always sails and picks up people in front of the Hula Grill. So they must be the same. Right, right?  Before our drinks came we tried to take pictures of each other. We laugh and had a good time.  Here are the results.

Pretty bad.  Getting old is real sucky.
We ordered our drinks.  Clela had a Coors Light.

I ordered Plantation Lemonade.  Kind a like a Long Island Lemonade.

We both ordered an Fish Tacos.

After eating and offering to wash dishes we went to get some cookies a must have.

Each cookie are individually wrapped.

While going to the ABC store, we saw a food trucked parked.  What is interested is the name. Tommy Bahama .  Now he is selling food.

After going to the ABC store we headed back to our condo.
A short rest we went down to to the ocean. On our way we stopped to look at the restaurant's menu.  I mean Clela looked at the menu.  I took this picture of this tree.  Now tell me what it looks like.

I think it looks like a prehistoric animal.  I mean look at its head.  Could be a dinosaur.  Right?  If you look at the mouth from its front there is even an opening there.

We found some lounge chairs and moved them under our favorite tree.  We settled in for some whale watching.  While looking back, I saw this guy in a hula skirt.  Here is what I saw.

Sorry for the poor quality, but there it was, the Joker himself.

Well that was our day, the Hula Girl, Hula Grill, the prehistoric beast and the Joker.  What a day.
See ya.
