Saturday February 11 2017 - The Storm Really

Saturday February 11 2017 - The Storm Really
Aloha kakahiaka (Good morning) in Hawaiian.  I don't know what to tell you.  The weathermen have been talking about this storm all week.  The wind has pick up and it's cloudy but no rain.  We have been getting weather alerts of flooding all day.  They have been touting thunder like we get warnings about blizzards.  Thus, we decided to go no where.  There is no one in the pool or hot tube.
At the store yesterday we picked up some Hawaiian bread.  This bread is thick so Clela decided we would have french toast for breakfast.

Doesn't that look good.  Once again I"m full, too full.
After breakfast we clean up always a load of wash.  We just sat around this morning. We did have some FaceTime with the Flagges, first Sam and then Chris.  Always fun to here whats going on back home.  We will do some more FaceTime tomorrow.
We decided to go to the ABC store to get some items and see if we could find something for lunch and supper.

Sometimes you just have to try somethings. This is Thai chicken roll up.  Don't think I'll eat that again.

After lunch and our story we decided go down to the ocean to whale watch.  There was no   one around.  It started to rain so we found an open cabana and got in, well almost.  It really started to rain.  We said that's enough so we started back.  Before heading back I took a couple pictures.

Not a nice day.  We stop an made reservation for Valentine day.  A special dinner and entertainment.
Clela decided to cover her head with a towel.

Getting back to our condo we decided to celebrate the weathermen of Hawaii, they finally got it right.  We had Pina Colada with ice.  Oh darn, it's all gone.

That was our day.  We didn't do much.

Supper was trying something new again.

Chinese pork with rice.  Even tho the pork looks raw it was not, that a red sauce.  Don't think I'll try that again.  Don't get me wrong it was okay, okay, okay.
Glad you spent your day with us.  Aloha (good by in Hawaiian.  See you tomorrow.
