Halleluiah

Today is a great day not because it's raining, but because after a week and two days I finally got  caught up with my blogs.  It was hard but I made it.  Halleluiah!! 

I guess when things are going well, we never talk about it. I broke that cardinal rule.  The weather now reminds me of last year.  I think in the four weeks we had five beautiful days.  We have already have had six great days this year.  This weather will hang around over the weekend and then we will be back to sunshine and blue skies.

This is the start of this day. It is raining but at times the sun tries to come out, only to rain harder.

 That is the last time you will see blue skies today.  It's cooler with a cold wind so we will eat inside.

This is a Jimmy Dean morning. This will be the last time you will see a Jimmy morning.  Clela is going to make her own breakfast sandwiches.  After breakfast I worked on some blogs and Clela read

her book.

Man the fog was overwhelming.  All the color is gone.  Just kidding

Now that is better.  We are going into Lahaina to pick up our favorite coffee, Peaberry coffee at the Mauigrown Coffee store.

Since the store was closed. We went online and placed an order yesterday and went to the store to pick it up today.  We had to go to a side door, knocked twice and a women opened the door a crack and we gave her the secret pass word and our order came in a brown paper bag.  You know like a speak easy.  Do you believe me? Half of it is true. 

Off to the Safeway for groceries.  Here is a pic for your memory.

Remember when you were a kid and took a bag lunch to school?  Oh, Twinkies, oh look there is Ho Hos, loved those Cup cakes and sometimes Ding Dongs.  The good old past.  

After taking our groceries back to our condo time flies by and it's almost time for lunch.  

We had a hot ham and cheese sandwich and a Greek salad.  

After our rest and a story, Clela said lets go for a walk. It was iffy out there.

Yup looks like rain. lets go down.

Elbows only to push the buttons., safety, safety.  We have found out all the workers at the resort wear a mask, but a lot of the guest don't.  We walked out into the open area and it was raining.

So we sat for a while and then decided to take a walk inside.  There a places we haven't walked before even though we have been coming here since 1993. We went outside and this is what we saw in the pool.

It doesn't look like it but the pool was full.  I think some people come here for only three days and they are going to use the pool, no mater if it's raining or the water is cold, that's the breaks they are going to have fun.

I took this pic because you could use this leaf for cover and some could be used to collect water.

After the news we ate supper.

We had a great salad and chicken and a sauce with rice.
