Going Up To Flemings Beach

Got up around 4 this morning for a bathroom visit and looked out toward the lanai doors.  There was so much ambient light you didn't need to turn on lights.  I walked over and there was the moon shining on the water.  I stepped out and took this picture.

I've said in the past that check out what the weather looks like about 10 or 11 in the morning to see what type a day you will have.  Here you judge.

We couldn't eat out side because of the wind.  We are getting wind of 25 to 30mph, with gust up to 40mph.  That is not bad but if you eat on the lanai, the food will be cold fast.  

So here we are inside,

French toast with strawberries. It was so good.

 More and more we are taking our time in the morning.  We watch the Today show, drink our coffee and we might be doing some wash. Sometimes before we now it, it is lunch time. That was the case today.  Much warmer now so we ate on the lanai.

Today we had the typical lunch, you know like back home.  Okay I don't think we would be eating on the patio, 8 degrees versus 75 here.

Hard choice. Thank God we're here.  We decided early today we were going to Fleming Beach because of the high winds. Good surfing photos and good video. All we are doing is put our beach chairs down and just taking it in.

Most of these pics were of two young girls.  Clela thinks they were about 14 to 16.  They were the best of about 8 surfers.  The the surf was tough on the surfers when they fell off their boards.  To us it looked punishing.

On our way back to our condo we decided to order a pizza and pick it up in a half hour.  There it is.
