February 24th 2018 Taking The Day Off

The past two days we get up and the weather has been iffy in the morning with a little rain one minute and the next the sun is shining.  That is the some of us.  Being warm enough we ate breakfast out on the lanai.  Clela always seems to come up with something.

There you are three hockey pucks, papaya, banna bread and what everyone in Hawaiin wants for breakfast, spam.  Oh I did have Guava Nectar.  Those hockey pucks are pan cakes filled with blueberry.  As I said the other day they do have a good taste.  When you eat three you are full.

When we went down to the ocean we stopped to get new towels by the pool by the ocean.  As we were leaving the area some lady said Wisconsin.  Yes I am a free billboard for the Badgers.  We met a family from Green Bay.  He was wearing his Packer t-shirt.  When we were sitting by the ocean we met a guy from Racine.  He was here with his parents who live in New Berlin.

While sitting by the ocean we saw a couple getting wedding pictures.  She looks happy here but didn't look that way when they were reviewing the pictures.  Don't know what's going on there.
As we were leaving we did stop to talk to the guy who lives in New Berlin.  Small world isn't it.

You know I see all these people taking selfies of themselves and marvel at them.  They make it look so easy.  Well here we are.

Maybe I should stop because, well it's all those wrinkles.  Sometimes it's sad to see our life you flying by so fast.  Don't get me wrong I wouldn't change one thing. We are both so blessed.

For lunch we had sandwiches.  Got to start cleaning out the re-frig.

That was a good sandwich.

This afternoon went by fast, but don't ask me what we did.  So I guess we did nothing.  A little sleeping, a little T.V. and a little people watching.

Supper was going out to the grill and cooking two huge hand burgers.  Each Burger was at least one inch tall.  Started talking to the guy next to me.  He started talking about the next Wisconsin basketball game.  It turned out he was from Tomah.

Well that was our day of doing nothing.  See you tomorrow.
